About this historical version

This notice applies to the earliest preserved EurDesign website at history.eurdesign.com/classic/. Its contents document a period in the agency’s history around the start of the millennium. News, examples, prices and references from that period are retained.

Hosting, delivery and security

Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, delivers and protects this archive. STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, hosts its files and our email. These providers process technical connection data, including IP address, requested address, time, browser and response status, to deliver pages, resolve faults and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is an accessible, secure archive.

The archive uses the same Cloudflare Workers service as history.eurdesign.com. Invocation logs record technical request data and are retained for three days under our current Free-plan configuration. This version does not log the contents of form fields or maintain an enquiry database. Providers’ own records follow their purposes and retention conditions, described in the Cloudflare information and STRATO information.

Cookies, language and animations

This version sets no cookies of its own, stores no language preference in the browser, uses no advertising analytics and creates no browsing profiles. The language is carried in each page address. Images, animations and their player are served from the archive itself; third-party maps, fonts and players are not loaded.

Animations play locally. The player cannot save games or preferences in persistent browser storage or connect to external services from an animation. The browser’s technical cache helps load files. Providers may use mechanisms strictly necessary to deliver or protect the service; this version enables no optional tracking technologies.

Historical forms and current contact

Forms, calculators and submission controls are retained as part of the historical presentation. They are disabled: they do not send or store names, email addresses, messages or files. Their buttons show a notice and offer a link to our current website. This version also has no account access, SMS delivery, public comments, subscriptions or contract conclusion.

If you write directly to info@eurdesign.com, we use your address, message and any information you provide to reply. STRATO hosts the email, which we handle in our email application. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contractual enquiries you initiate; Article 6(1)(f) applies to other enquiries, with our interest in responding to correspondence. Contact is voluntary. Provide only necessary information; without a reply address we cannot answer.

Email retention

Enquiries are deleted once resolved and no agreed follow-up remains, unless a statutory obligation or a specific need relating to claims requires retention. Where tax or commercial retention applies, correspondence is normally kept for six years and invoices and accounting vouchers for eight, from the end of the relevant year, subject to statutory extensions (section 147 AO, section 14b UStG and, where applicable, section 257 HGB). Mandatory retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. These periods do not apply to every email.

International processing

Cloudflare uses a global network and may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Its Data Processing Addendum describes international transfers and safeguards, including EU standard contractual clauses for restricted transfers. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data. The hosting and email service from STRATO is based in Germany.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data under Articles 15–20 GDPR. You can object under Article 21 to processing based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your situation. Any consent given for a separate service can be withdrawn for the future; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Write to info@eurdesign.com.

You can complain to a supervisory authority, in particular where you live or work or where an infringement occurred. Our local authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit. The archive does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Right to object

You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to processing of your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We will then stop that processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You can exercise this right by emailing info@eurdesign.com.

Telephone and current services

The telephone number is shared with our current services and is answered by an AI voice assistant. Details about calls, providers, retention and your alternatives are in the current website’s privacy notice. You can contact us by email instead.
