	Coordination

Project coordination: a team developing a hotel website might include a designer and software engineer in Berlin, a consultant in Spain (in this case a professor at Murcia’s University School of Tourism), a graphic designer in London, and three native-speaking translators in France, Italy and Germany.. Our extensive use of the Internet enables team meetings and a constant exchange of information as if everyone worked in the same city. Coordination, usually based in Berlin, gives clients a single, accessible point of contact for all the professionals on their project. The coordinator is the client’s main contact, keeps them informed of progress and promptly passes their suggestions and instructions to the team.

EurDesign: Who We Are...

Who...

EurDesign is a group of European professionals working in different fields, including freelancers associated with established companies and universities, alongside collaborators and consultants.

Where...

Although most of our members reside in Berlin, many others work in different cities in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the U.K.

How...

Our working method illustrates the potential of new communication media. We use the Internet extensively to overcome distance.

When we assemble a project team, we ensure close coordination.

Why...

EurDesign’s members formed an independent design and programming group to address a gap in European and international new media services. Local services often fail to meet clients’ needs, while large multinational companies can be too expensive. Our independent structure allows us to offer high quality at lower costs.

EurDesign is an open group...
